Belarus and UNDP intend to cooperate in the development of the venture capital system. The matter was discussed during the meeting of Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology Sergei Shlychkov with UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Alexandra Solovieva, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee on Science and Technology.
The parties expressed interest in working together for promotion of innovation projects and development of the venture capital system in Belarus. The parties reached an agreement on cooperation in such areas as improvement of legislation in venture capital investments, methods of selecting venture capital projects and development of foresight research in Belarus.
Cooperation will also continue within the framework of the UNDP Chernobyl program.
