Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich met with Rector of the University of Baghdad Munir Al-Saadi, BelTA learned from press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in education and scientific research," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The rector of the University of Baghdad is in Minsk at the invitation of the Belarusian State University in furtherance of the agreements reached during the ministerial political consultations in June of this year.
