Plane with 1.5m doses of Chinese COVID-19 vaccine lands in Minsk

       A plane from Beijing with 1.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Healthcare Ministry. The cargo included 500,000 doses, which China provided to Belarus as friendly humanitarian aid, and 1 million doses that Belarus has purchased. The vaccine is delivered in special containers that maintain the necessary temperature regime, said Sergei Litosh, Director General of the pharmaceutical enterprise Belpharmatsiya. The containers have the data loggers that monitor the temperature along the entire route. This ensures the cold chain and guarantees the quality, efficacy and safety of the vaccine. After quality control in an accredited laboratory, the vaccine will be received to healthcare organizations. The delivery of the vaccine to Belarus was organized by the Healthcare Ministry, the embassies of the two countries, Belpharmatsiya and the National Medical Response Center.
