Russia advocates for Belarus’ PACE Special Guest status restoration

        Russia is consistent in advocating for the restoration of Belarus’ Special Guest status in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Leonid Slutsky told media. In his words, more West European delegations speak in favor of Belarus today.Besides, Leonid Slutsky stressed that the restoration of the status would provide an opportunity to work with Belarusian colleagues on the PACE platform, share opinions, learn more about the country. “I hope Belarus’ Special Guest status will be restored this year,” he noted.
