The theme of the event, which is due to be held from 30 May to 1 July, is World. Beauty. Harmony.
Apart from it, Mogilev will also play host to a master class for young architects from the CIS countries. The CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund, a sponsor of the project, will invite young talented architects from various countries to the oblast center on 14-16 June. It is expected that lectures for young people will be held by renowned architects. Among them is outstanding sculptor from Italy Fabio Panzeri.
The first stone sculpture plein air was held in Mogilev in 2003. The first ten works were dedicated to design and urban environment. The second project was entitled as Mogilev. The Past and the Present. After that the plein air Stone Tale was abandoned for nine years. The plein air has been not only revived this year but also has become international as Mogilev was named the CIS and Belarus’ Capital of Culture for 2013.
