HC Yunost Minsk academy gets donation as part of Goal Charity Program

The ice hockey academy of HC Yunost Minsk got a Br60 million donation for Belarusian forward Alexei Uragov’s winning goal in the match against Slovenia at the 2013 IIHF World Championship.
The Presidential Sports Club implements a Charity Goal Program during the 2013 IIHF World Championship. Thanks to this project each Belarusian player who scores the winning goal of the match gets the right to choose one of the youth ice hockey academies that will receive the donation. If the goalie gets a shutout he will get the same right, too.
Alexei Ugarov began his professional career in HC Yunost Minsk. He said that this club opened him a door to the world of professional hockey, which is why he chose to support the youth academy of this very club. Alexei Ugarov called on all young sportsmen of the academy to work hard and wished them successes so that they could grow into professionals who will be able to represent the Belarusian national team in the future.
The Belarusian national ice hockey team still have many chances to support youth ice hockey academies in Belarus during the 2013 IIHF World Championship. In the Preliminary Round Belarus will encounter Canada on 10 May, Norway on 11 May, Denmark on 13 May and Switzerland on 14 May.
