The principle of balancing agricultural supplies in the Union State can also work in the Customs Union, Deputy Premier of Belarus Mikhail Rusy told reporters. According to Mikhail Rusy, the tentative balance of agricultural supplies in the Union State signed two weeks ago is a good example of civilized cooperation. “This allows controlling production and trade. The Union State partners will not clash on the same market with the same products, thus missing opportunities on other markets,” Mikhail Rusy said. Now the parties are working on single principles of promoting agribusiness within the framework of the Customs Union. The corresponding program is expected to be passed by the Customs Union member states. However, the Customs Union partners will be able to cooperate with each other even without this document; they can use international rules adopted in the bilateral format, the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus said. Besides, the partners would like to share technologies, solutions and know-how, Mikhail Rusy said.
