Piotr Rudnik: Year of Frugality will help accelerate modernization of enterprises

The Year of Frugality in Belarus will help accelerate the modernization of enterprises, it will contribute to raising salaries, Mr Piotr Rudnik, Chairman of the Mogilev region Executive Committee, told media.
In his words, in the tough conditions of market competition all enterprises and organizations intend to save resources and money. “The Year of Frugality will allow executives to take a fresh look at labor organization, find additional reserves for austerity and economy,” believes Piotr Rudnik. In his opinion, the Year of Frugality has been declared at a very opportune moment because Belarus has many reserves to tap into yet as far as better labor productivity and the economy of energy resources are concerned. Every enterprise and organization has things to improve. “I am convinced that among other things by fulfilling the instruction of the head of state to modernize every enterprise we will be able to save sizeable resources in the future by introducing high-performance and less energy-intensive innovative technologies into the manufacturing process. We have such modernization plans for every enterprise. Moreover, it is necessary to work out promising development plans for all the district capitals and major towns,” said the governor.
