Gazprom wants to build a multi-purpose center in Minsk, OAO Gazprom Chairman of the Board Alexei Miller told reporters following the recent meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Gazprom plans to bring together its ventures operating in Belarus under one roof.
In particular we spoke about an opportunity to build a very large modern multifunctional business center which could also include health and fitness facilities, a hotel. These facilities will be open to residents of Minsk and Belarus,” said Mr Alexei Miller. Gazprom together with the Minsk City Council could start working on the architectural concept of this center. This should be the center that will beautify Minsk and meet all modern architectural and town-planning requirements, the head of Gazprom said.
“We have mapped out some really serious big plans relating to all areas of cooperation. These include the development of the gas transmission system in Belarus, the increase in transit through the country, and joint social projects,” Mr Alexei Miller added.
