A regular session of the Belarusian-Vietnamese intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, and technical cooperation took place in Ho Chi Minh City, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported. The sides agreed to work out a roadmap for Belarus-Vietnam cooperation in economic affairs in 2016-2018 for the sake of bolstering the trade turnover, diversifying the choice of exports and imports, promoting cooperation in high technologies, manufacturing cooperation, and the investment component of the bilateral cooperation.The Belarusian delegation was led by Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Nguyen Cam Tu. Apart from that, a national exposition of Belarus was presented as part of the 12th international foreign trade expo Vietnam Expo in Ho Chi Minh. Presentations of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the Belarusian National Union of Consumer Societies, and other enterprises and organizations took place at the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum.
