Belarus children’s paintings, collections of novice designers on show in Paris

        France is hosting the Days of Belarusian Culture. One of the events of the cultural program was a vernissage of more than 20 paintings made by students of the Minsk region state-run specialized general education school for children with hearing disorders in Zhdanovichi, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Paris reported. The Belarusian embassy also played host to a demonstration of collections of Belarusian novice designers – winners and prize-holders of the 23rd national festival Fashion Mill. A delegation of 40 people comprised designers, photographers and young Belarusian stylists and models. Director of the National Children’s and Youth Center of Artistic Creativity Nadezhda Vasilchenko told the guests about the Fashion Mill project. The concept of the show that took place in the embassy united the collections of young Belarusian designers and models of well-known French couturier Jean-Marie Pujol and Belarusian designer and artist Larissa Noury-Shakinko.
