Belarus offers MAZ buses to Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast for world football championship

Belarus offers MAZ buses to Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast in anticipation of the 2018 world football championship. The relevant statement was made by First Vice Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko at the first session of the council for business cooperation between Belarus and Sverdlovsk Oblast.
In turn, Belarusian Deputy Industry Minister Alexander Ogorodnikov reminded that MAZ buses were actively used during the Sochi Olympics. “Our vehicles did well. We are confident that our buses could be successfully used during the 2018 world football championship, too,” said the official.
Speaking about cooperation between industrial enterprises of Belarus and Sverdlovsk Oblast, Alexander Ogorodnikov said that they are now making the transition from purely sale and purchase contracts to the organization and implementation of joint projects. “Every side understands what products they want to make and what partners they would like to have in order to make these products best of breed,” the Deputy Industry Minister was convinced. As an example Alexander Ogorodnikov mentioned the agreement signed by Belarusian OAO BelAZ and OAO Sinara – Transport Vehicles. The agreement stipulates the use of DM185 series engines in BelAZ mine dump trucks.
