FM on a visit to South Africa

      Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei is paying an official visit to the Republic of South Africa. The Belarusian delegation comprises representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Belvneshpromservice foreign trade company, Minsk Automobile Plant. The visit will include meetings with RSA officials. Implementation of joint projects will be discussed with South African businessmen, says Foreign Ministry spokesperson Dmitry Mironchik:

     “The current visit is the first one to the Republic of South Africa for the Foreign Minister of Belarus. It testifies to the mutual interest of the parties in intensifying high-level contacts and bilateral cooperation.
In 2013 Belarus was visited by the Minister of the International Relations and Communication of the Republic of South Africa and her Deputy Minister. Minsk played host to a meeting of the joint Belarus-RSA Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation.”
