Brest will play host to the fifth meeting of the advisory committee for entrepreneurship at the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on 22 August, the EEC press service reports. The meeting will focus on the issues related to entrepreneurship development and mechanisms of public-private partnership in the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. The EEC representatives will discuss the changes in the legislation of the SES member states, which may have an impact on the business environment, and will make proposals on the elimination of administrative barriers to business. The meeting will be chaired by the member of the board (minister) for economy and financial policy Timur Suleimenov. His presentation will focus on the basic provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) signed by the Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia in Astana on 29 May 2014.
Prior to the meeting of the advisory committee, on 21 August, Brest will host the second and third meetings of the subcommittee to eliminate redundant barriers in foreign and mutual trade and investment.
