Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Belarus Jaak Lensment. The meeting was dedicated to the end of the Ambassador’s mission in Belarus. The sides summed up results of development of Belarusian-Estonian relations during Jaak Lensment’s work in Belarus.
The meeting was focused on the activation of interaction in political, trade, economic, and cultural spheres.
In his interview to Radio Belarus the diplomat talked about the most promising bilateral projects in economy:

“These are food processing industry, textile and consumer goods industries, as well as timber industry. These are the most important. We also buy considerable amounts of Belarusian potash fertilizers. Belarusian companies use our sea ports.
On the other hand, Estonia buys a lot of Belarus-made automotive components. Our second largest city, Tartu, uses Belarusian MAZ buses in its public transportation system, as this Belarusian company won the tender.”
