Belarusian and Azerbaijan art museums sign cooperation agreement

      The National Art Museum of Belarus and the State Museum of Art of Azerbaijan signed a cooperation agreement in Baku, the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan reports. The document was signed by the directors of the museums Vladimir Prokoptsov and Chingiz Farzaliyev. The ceremony was attended by figures of culture and art, representatives of the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan. Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Sevda Mammadaliyeva said that the development of museums is among the state priorities in Azerbaijan. In her view, various programs and projects help preserve the national cultural wealth and pass the valuable artifacts and works of art stored in the museums of the country to future generations.
       For his part, the Director of the National Art Museum of Belarus Vladimir Prokoptsov noted that the signing of the agreement between the museums of Azerbaijan and Belarus will be another step towards the consolidation of cultural bridges between countries, will lead to new projects, exhibitions, and help exchange experience. Chingiz Farzaliyev expressed his hope for the early implementation of the plans within the framework of the signed document.
