Belarus builds a democratic state with civil peace and concord, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in his greeting to the participants of the international conference “Constitutional control: modern tendencies of development and improvement”.

“Relying on the principles and norms of the Constitution we build a democratic, social, legal state which maintains peace and concord. The establishment of the special judicial body to supervise the constitutionality of the legal framework was an important step on the independent way chosen by the Republic of Belarus. Today the Constitutional Court plays a huge role in the country’s legal system. It ensures the enhancement of constitutional legality and improvement of the national legislation,” the message of greetings reads.
