Team France to arrive first in Minsk for IIHF World Championship

       Team France is going to arrive first in Minsk for the 2014 IIHF World Championship. Its arrival is scheduled for 6 May, the Directorate for the IIHF World Championship reports. Team Italy is to arrive on the same day. Most arrivals are scheduled for 7 May. Team Latvia will arrive last on 8 May.
        Minsk will also host the annual Congress of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). According to the Directorate, a flag hoisting ceremony of the countries participating in the World Championship is scheduled for 8 May on the square of the State Flag of Belarus in Minsk. The opening ceremony of the IIHF World Championship will take place on 9 May.
      The accreditation center for the registration of official participants of the 2014 IIHF World Championship opened at Minsk Arena on 2 May. It will stay open until the last day of the tournament on 25 May.
