Latushko announces Belarus’ presentations in France in 2014

       Belarus plans at least five presentations in France this year, BelTA qoutes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko from the event to mark the opening of a new flight Minsk-Nice-Minsk. “The number will depend on the agreement with the partners. Today we see the interest of business associations and local authorities in it,” he said. The diplomat pointed out that one of the priorities in the development of trade and economic interstate cooperation is the presentation of Belarus’ potential at the regional level. According to the diplomat, the potential of Minsk and Belarus was presented in Nice. Partaking in the event was Vice Mayor of Nice Rudy Salles, experts of the Nice business association, representatives of the Belarusian embassy, the Minsk City Hall. Similar events have been held in Bordeaux, Cannes, Paris, Lyon. “They promote distribution of the information about our country and establishments of business contacts,” the diplomat is confident. According to Pavel Latushko, at present Belarus’ investment potential is underused by French companies. “In order to attract French investors to Belarus, we should tell them about our country and demonstrate all the advantages of investing in here. This is the major aim of our future presentations,” he said.
