Vladimir Spivakov presented with Francysk Skaryna Order

          USSR People’s Artist, artistic director and principal conductor of the chamber orchestra Moscow Virtuosi Vladimir Spivakov has been presented with the order of Francysk Skaryna. The awarding ceremony took place at the Belarusian embassy in Russia, BelTA reports. Vladimir Spivakov expressed sincere gratitude for this high award and noted that he has dedicated his life to ordinary people, including gifted children. Talking to the press after the ceremony, the musician stressed that many creative projects connect him with Belarus. First of all, it is the international music festival “Vladimir Spivakov Invites” which is held not only in Minsk but other cities of the country as well. The festival gathers the world’s renowned artists. Following numerous requests of the Belarusian audience Vladimir Spivakov plans to repeat his unique project in Minsk which was held in Mogilev and Gomel. It is a screening of Charlie Chaplin’s famous movie City Lights accompanied by live music performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
