A joint picture, I Wont Come Back, will be presented at the 13th international film festival Tribeca which is underway in New York these days, the Belarusfilm Studio reports. The cinema forum was founded by Robert De Niro and producers Jane Rozenthal and Craig Hatkoff in 2002. The event is annually attended by almost 3 million people.
The festival, in its 13th year, is held on 16-27 April. This addition features 89 feature films, of them 55 are world premieres.
The film, I Wont Come Back, is created by the Belarusfilm Studio jointly with STV Film Company (Russia), Helsinki Filmi (Finland), Amrion (Estonia).
Ilmar Raag’s production tells about the adventures of two girls in Russia on their way to Kazakhstan. Student Anya is sought by the police. The other girl is 13-year-old orphan Kristina. The script was written by young Russian playwright Yaroslava Pulinovich several years ago.
