In 2014 Belarus will host the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan. The preparations for the event were discussed in a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov and Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Guncha Mamedova.
The Days of Culture will include a gala concert featuring Belarusian and the Turkmen artists, and an exhibition of the museum art and applied art exhibits. The cinema days will present the film about the poet and classic of the Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli, and a roundtable at the National Library of Belarus.
Guncha Mamedova spoke highly of Belarusian artists who participated in cultural events in Turkmenistan, and expressed the hope that the work to promote the Belarusian and Turkmen cultures will be continued. She invited Belarus to cultural events to be held in Turkmenistan in 2014 - the theater festival, folk festival, and a conference dedicated to Makhtumkuli.
The Belarusian-Turkmen cooperation in culture is based on the friendship and cooperation treaty between Belarus and Turkmenistan and an agreement between the two countries' Culture Ministries on ties in culture. The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Belarus were held in 2010. The Turkmen group of horsemen Galkynysh gave performances at the Belarusian circus in 20012 which were a huge success.

Höre gerade den tollen Song 10:45 min ( Hörerbriefkasten) Was ist das für ein traditionelles Instrument im Soloteil, klingt etwas wie ein Dudelsack, aber der ist ja in Schottland:-)

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Хацелася б даведацца, цi плануе радыёстанцыя вяшчанне на FM у Мiнску, бо ў заходнiх рэгiёнах Беларусi радыёстанцыя на FM працуе. У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь. На сёння ў Мiнску няма нiводнай англамоўнай цi iншамоўнай радыёстанцыi. З павагай, ваш слухач Сяргей.
