Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov held a number of working meetings in the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China on 11 September during his working visit to the region, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In particular, Maksim Ryzhenkov met with Acting Education Minister Jeff Sze to discuss promising projects in education and youth exchanges. The parties agreed to intensify inter-agency and inter-university contacts and discuss the participation of delegations of Belarusian universities in scientific and educational events in Hong Kong.
Practical steps and mechanisms for boosting trade and economic cooperation as well as strengthening contacts of the business communities were discussed together with the economic unit of the government. The parties expressed satisfaction with the growth of the trade in goods and services, investment and business activities in 2024.
The parties also expressed mutual interest in more active use of the potential of Belarus and Hong Kong as pillars of the Belt and Road Initiative to implement new mutually beneficial projects. Special attention was paid to strengthening the legal framework of interaction.
On the first day of his working visit, Maksim Ryzhenkov participated in the opening ceremony of the ninth summit of the Belt and Road Initiative and toured the Museum of War Resistance and Coastal Defense. The museum is a symbol of preserving the historical memory of the Chinese people's struggle and victory over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II.

das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)
