The relations between Belarus and Venezuela have stood the test of strength in the current difficult times, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik told the media after his talks with Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yvan Gil Pinto in Minsk on 16 October, BelTA has learned.
Sergei Aleinik called the talks with his Venezuelan counterpart not a spontaneous meeting or a courtesy visit, but a logical continuation of friendly interstate dialogue and further contribution to their development.
“We maintain almost complete mutual understanding on most issues on both bilateral and international agendas. Bilateral relations remain very strong. Venezuela continues to be our important partner in the Latin American region. Belarus remains committed to sincere friendship with Venezuela. We will certainly continue to provide mutual support at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organizations,” the minister stressed.
Sergei Aleinik noted that the current geopolitical situation was very tense. “The aspiration of most countries to a just world order meets fierce resistance from the countries of the collective West. They cannot yet understand, never mind accept that they are no longer masters of the planet and cannot, as before, dictate their terms to everyone. It is in such difficult historical moments that the relations between friendly countries are tested for strength. I believe that Belarus and Venezuela are passing this test successfully, even despite the objective difficulties associated with the constant sanctions pressure,” the Belarusian diplomat said.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь.
