Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Belarus Abdulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad praised the social and economic development of Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia following a meeting between the Saudi Arabian diplomat and head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission Dmitry Krutoi in Moscow.
“Abdulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, who has visited Belarus several times before, hailed the social and economic development of the country as successful and expressed his readiness to actively promote contacts at all levels between the countries,” the Belarusian diplomatic mission said.
“The parties considered key issues of development of traditionally friendly Belarusian-Saudi relations and interaction in multilateral formats,” the press service said. “They discussed current topics of the global and Middle East agenda. Dmitry Krutoi and Abdulrahman Suleiman Al-Ahmad agreed that there are no contradictions in the bilateral relations and emphasized the similarity of approaches in international affairs. The parties expressed mutual interest in intensifying political, trade, economic and investment cooperation, exchanging visits and holding joint events, including political consultations and a regular meeting of the intergovernmental joint committee. The parties also agreed to promote cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Saudi Arabia.”
Dmitry Krutoi spoke about Belarus’ potential in agriculture, industrial production, and education. He also stated the readiness of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the business community of Belarus to expand ties with the Saudi partners.

Höre gerade den tollen Song 10:45 min ( Hörerbriefkasten) Was ist das für ein traditionelles Instrument im Soloteil, klingt etwas wie ein Dudelsack, aber der ist ja in Schottland:-)

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Хацелася б даведацца, цi плануе радыёстанцыя вяшчанне на FM у Мiнску, бо ў заходнiх рэгiёнах Беларусi радыёстанцыя на FM працуе. У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь. На сёння ў Мiнску няма нiводнай англамоўнай цi iншамоўнай радыёстанцыi. З павагай, ваш слухач Сяргей.
