The draft law on amendments to the Electoral Code has been submitted to the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Standing Commission on State Construction, Local Self-Government and Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives Valentin Semenyako told the media on 7 December, BelTA has learned.
“A number of bills are in the works and are almost ready. In particular, the bills on the National Assembly and the status of a deputy of the House of Representatives and a member of the Council of the Republic were prepared and submitted for the first reading in June. Their level of readiness for the second reading is very high. The final approval procedures are underway and they will soon be put on the agenda. Besides, the updated Electoral Code has been received by the House of Representatives and is now in the standing commissions. I hope we will pass it in the first reading by the end of this year,” said Valentin Semenyako.
In his words, the standing commissions of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly are working to fill the agenda of the ninth session. Some commissions have made proposals to supplement the agenda. According to him, the work is carried out in three main directions. “The first and most important is the implementation of the requirements of the updated Constitution in the current legislation. The second one is the economic block, first of all, the adoption of laws to resist the sanctions pressure. The third one is international cooperation, primarily with friendly countries,” the MP said.
“As for the additions to the agenda, the main one is the budget and tax block. These are three laws - on the national budget 2023, on amendments to the laws on taxation and on the budget of the state extra-budgetary fund for social security for 2023. A number of bills have been prepared for the first reading. There is a proposal to amend the law “On Constitutional Court Proceedings”. One of the bills has been prepared for the second reading in the Oval Office – this is the law on external labor migration,” Valentin Semenyako added.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)
