The 16th meeting of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation was held online and was chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The results of trade and economic cooperation in Q1 2021 were positively assessed. The mutual trade amounted to $215 million, up almost 12% form the same period of 2020. Belarus posted trade surplus of $133.5 million. The participants of the meeting also hailed the development of Belarus-Kazakhstan industrial cooperation and supplies of machinery.
“An important step here will be the construction of MTZ's plant in Kazakhstan to produce tractor cabins and front axles, expansion of the jointly produced range of tractors, harvesters, other agricultural and automotive equipment and units,” the press service said.
The participants of the meeting agreed to hold Days of Culture of Belarus in Kazakhstan this year and discussed the organization of the Belarus-Kazakhstan forum.
“The commission supported the simultaneous holding of contests of joint Belarusian-Kazakh scientific and technical projects in the current and subsequent years, which helps quickly and efficiently solve the issues related to financing the projects of mutual interest. The minutes and the action plan (road map) between the governments of Belarus and Kazakhstan on the development of trade and economic cooperation in 2021-2022 were signed at the end of the meeting,” the press service said.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)
