Belarus-Russia economic cooperation is good on the whole. The statement was made by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev as he met with Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich in Moscow, BelTA reports.
Yet Dmitry Medvedev mentioned a certain decrease in the mutual trade at the beginning of the year. “We should pay attention to it. There are various reasons behind it,” he said. The Prime Minister of Russia underlined that work to implement joint projects in various branches of the economy goes on. “It is important for the efforts to result in the creation of joint ventures,” he said. “I mean cooperation in the production sector, power engineering, and agriculture”.
