Cooperation for Customs Union, European farm machine producers possible

Farm machine industries of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space might develop cooperation with Europe’s leading producers of agricultural equipment. The prospects of such cooperation in part of the production of components for power units were discussed at a meeting of the delegation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) led by EEC Minister for Industry and Agriculture Sergei Sidorsky and President of the German Engineering Association (VDMA) Reinhold Festge, the press service of the commission reports. The talks took place as part of the visit of the EEC delegation to Frankfurt am Main. The EEC representatives took part in the events of the international exhibition Light+Building 2013. The expo hosted business meetings with the main European producers of photodiode equipment to talk over possible cooperation projects with companies of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia producing similar products. “The delegation also held talks with Director General of Messe Frankfurt Rus Eugen Alles to consider prospects of cooperation and assistance to the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space producers on their way to entering international markets and outlining new segments of demand for turning out goods,” the EEC said.
