The systemic tasks that have to be accomplished in 2014 were voiced by Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich at the expanded participation session of the Council of Ministers.
“After strategic matters concerning the development of the economy were revised by the head of state, it is necessary to mobilize resources and drastically accelerate the work. The President has made quite concrete decisions. All of us have to ensure the unconditional fulfillment of these instructions,” stressed Mikhail Myasnikovich.
According to him, it is necessary to pay close attention to Eurasian integration, in particular, the preparation of the draft Eurasian Economic Union treaty.

“In May the presidents of the Customs Union member states will discuss the drafts of the document. The view of the Belarusian side has been set by the head of state: we should create a full-value common market without exemptions or restrictions. Within the framework of the integration association it is important to ensure the free flow of commodities, services, capital, and workforce. Work is now in progress to remove multiple exemptions. Issues concerning services and capital have yet to be addressed”.
