The third battery of air defense systems Tor-M2 has arrived in Belarus, Major-General Oleg Dvigalev, Chief of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Armed Forces of Belarus, told media. He noted that after the necessary procedures are completed the battery will be redeployed in Baranovichi.
Oleg Dvigalev also confirmed that after the arrival of the third Tor-M2 artillery battery Belarus will have a full-standing artillery battalion equipped with completely new weapons.
Oleg Dvigalev had earlier told journalists that Belarusian missile troops had not had any complaints about this kind of armament. It proved its outstanding quality during a firing exercise at the Ashuluk firing range in Russia.
