Ukraine’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ready to learn from the experience of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, First Vice President of the CCI of Ukraine Viktor Yanovsky said at the 9th Congress of the BCCI in Minsk. "Our chambers have similar missions. We do much the same job, but at the same time, the BCCI has the kind of experience that we should adopt. This applies to new types of services that we do not provide yet,” said Viktor Yanovsky. He recalled that the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and Belarus established the relationship long ago: in 2002, a cooperation agreement was signed to replace the previous agreement signed in 1996. The Business Council was established on the basis of this document. The council has held 10 meetings. In 2010, the council was transformed into the Advisory Business Cooperation Council. The next, third, meeting of the council will be held in Kiev on 19 November.
"We hope that we will be able to share the experience and proposals to improve mutual trade and economic cooperation. We are ready to contribute to the elimination of barriers to our economic relations and to increase trade,” he stressed.
