Minsk is gearing up for the regular session of CIS Foreign Ministers Council, which is set to discuss 18 draft documents in humanitarian field, security and other areas. Top on the agenda will be projects related to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The CIS Foreign Ministers Council will also consider the draft cooperation strategy in tourism for the period until 2020. The participants of the session will also discuss a number of draft decisions, including an action plan for 2014-2015 to implement the International Youth Cooperation Strategy for the period until 2020. The foreign ministers are also expected to discuss and approve a number of decisions in the field of security. Those are draft cooperation programs related to anti-terrorism efforts, illegal trade in narcotic drugs and trafficking in human beings.
The foreign ministers will discuss a draft agreement on the establishment of the Interstate Anti-Corruption Council.
