Ambassador of Belarus to Hungary and Slovenia Alexander Khainouski is on a working visit to Slovenia, where he takes part in the annual International Strategic Forum in Bled. The central topics of discussion at the event are issues related to the future of European economic and monetary union, prospects of economic cooperation on the European continent, including the context of integration processes aimed at creation of the Eurasian Economic Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
According to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alena Kupchina, political and economic cooperation between the countries is at a high level:
        “Slovenia is a country which consistently advocates a dialogue with the Republic of Belarus, and understands many of the processes that take place in our country.
Slovenia develops its political contacts with Belarus on the basis of mutual respect, equality and partiality.”
