Chief sanitary inspector explains who needs to take PCR test to enter Belarus

Belarusian Deputy Healthcare Minister, Chief Sanitary Inspector Aleksandr Tarasenko told the ONT TV channel who needs to take a PCR test before entering Belarus, BelTA has learned.

Temporary restrictions on crossing the Belarusian border were lifted on 3 April.

“There will be no more restrictions on the number of border crossings within a specified period like it was before when it was allowed to cross the border once in three months. There used to be a list of persons to whom this requirement did not apply. Yet, one requirement remains: foreign nationals will have to present the results of PCR tests when entering the Republic of Belarus. This requirement will not extend to citizens of the Russian Federation and Ukrainian nationals who enter Belarus on humanitarian grounds. This requirement will not apply to citizens of the Republic of Belarus, either,” Aleksandr Tarasenko said.
