The Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea will engage in talks over the mutual abolition of visas, Shin Gye-ryoon, member of the Strategy and Finance Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Head of the Association of Friendship with Belarus at the Korean National Assembly, told reporters after he met with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko. “The two countries are now carefully studying a possibility to conclude a visa abolition agreement. We will collect the necessary information through the embassy of Belarus in the Republic of Korea,” Shin Gye-ryoon said.
In his words, the matter had been discussed a day before, during the meeting of Korean and Belarusian MPs. “We got even more determined to sign the agreement in the future. After I come back to Korea, I will continue working on the matter. I think a positive decision will be made,” the MP added.
