Modern Belarusian art will be presented in Venice.

A national project will take part in the 56th Venice Biennale. The motto of one of the most prestigious forums in the field of fine arts is "All the world's fates." The curator of the exhibition is the director of the Munich House of Art, famous writer Okwui Envezor. According to Irina Driga, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus, this is an image project for Belarus, because it gives us the opportunity to present our modern art, the level of contemporary art development in our country. It is like the Olympics in the sport, it is like the Cannes Film Festival in the cinema - the Venice Biennale has that status.
Natalia Sharangovich, Head of the Center of Contemporary Arts, will be the curator of the national pavilion.
