New IMF program for Belarus under consideration


        A mission of the International Monetary Fund has arrived in Belarus for the sake of studying the advisability of preparing a new country program. Representatives of the Belarus government met with the IMF mission, BelTA reports. Before the meeting Alexander Zaborovsky, First Deputy Head of the Council of Ministers Office, Head of the Secretariat of the Prime Minister of Belarus, told media that the directions, the key steps that will become the foundation for discussing the possibility of preparing a new program will be determined as a result of the IMF mission’s work.
      “If the IMF and the government agree on key matters, fundamental aspects of the future possible program, then another mission will arrive in Belarus very soon to discuss the program,” said Alexander Zaborovsky.
