Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Belarus on a working visit on 10 October to attend the meetings of the CIS Council of the Heads of States, the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, BelTA learned from the Kremlins press service.
The CIS summit is scheduled to discuss the development of multilateral cooperation in the economic, humanitarian and law enforcement areas.
At the meeting of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community, the Presidents of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will give the assessment of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and sign an agreement on the termination of this organization as from 1 January 2015.
According to the Kremlin press service, the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will discuss topical issues of trade in goods and services, the movement of capital and labor, financial, institutional and technical aspects connected with the launch of the Eurasian Economic Union on 1 January 2015.
