Belarus and Russia are busy correcting planned food trade figures for 2015 in view of Russia’s embargo against the import of several groups of food from European countries, BelTA quotes Alexei Bogdanov, Head of the Central Office for Foreign Economic Activities of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
     Every year Belarus and Russia formalize how much sugar, dairy products, and meat products they can trade with each other. The forecasts regarding the demand for and supply of milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, white sugar in the Union State of Belarus and Russia in 2015 will be revised upwards, said Alexei Bogdanov. The official also added that the sides may specify expected trade volumes for other kinds of food, too.
    According to the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, in 2014 Belarus is ready to increase the delivery of beef, poultry, and dairy products to Russia.
