The 9th edition of the international festival, Youth for the Union State, will take place in Rostov region of Russia on 15-19 September, the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly of the State Union of Belarus and Russia reports. This year’s forum will mark the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazis and the forthcoming anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The program will include concerts, youth song competitions, themed nights, and open-air concerts in the cities of Rostov region of Russia. The youth song competition will highlight the festival. Partaking in the contest will be 19 young singers from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan. Their artistry will be assessed by a professional jury that will include well-known artists, prizewinners of Belarusian and Russian international competitions: Nikolai Timokhin, Oksana Simon, Olga Plotnikova, Sergei Gerasimov. The jury will be headed by musician and composer Igor Kornilov. Among the guests of the forum will be singer and composer Mark Tishman, beatboxer Maksim Vysotsky, singer Max Savin, Invoice Band, the youth orchestra Street Band, the exemplary ensemble Yegoza and others.
