Belarus open to all-round cooperation with Austria



          Belarus is open to broad cooperation with Austria in all areas and is ready for a dialogue at the top level. The statement was made by Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich as he met with President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Christoph Leitl, the press service of the Belarus government reported.
Vice President of the Federation of Austrian Industries, owner and head of the group of companies Bertsch Holding Hubert Bertsch, owner and head of the group of companies PISEC Group Karl Pisec, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Margot Klestil-Loffler also took part in the meeting.
        Austria is one of the top five investors in the Belarus economy. Mikhail Myasnikovich noted during the meeting that positive tendencies have evolved in interstate relations between the two countries, economic cooperation develops successfully. According to the Prime Minister, the countries have a large potential to further advance the mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in many spheres.
The importance of finding new forms and opportunities for interaction to help increase the bilateral trade, address its misbalance, attract Austrian technologies and investments to Belarus was mentioned.
