In the future the positive experience, which will be accumulated in the created Eurasian Economic Union, may be used for the Commonwealth of Independent States. This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, BelTA reports.

Head of the CIS Executive Committee noted that it was the the CIS, which became the platform for the Eurasian Economic Union. "The close and fruitful work in the economic sphere in the CIS gradually led some members of the Commonwealth to deepen their cooperation and bring it to the signing of this important agreement. Therefore, I personally, as the chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, and my colleagues welcome this move as a stronger form of integration,” - said Sergey Lebedev. “If all goes well, we can take the positive things from the Eurasian Economic Union to use this experience in the Commonwealth of Independent States.”
