Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is receiving congratulations sent by leaders of foreign nations on the occasion of Victory Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader told media. In particular, the congratulation from President of Russia Vladimir Putin reads: “In July we will have to properly celebrate the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invaders. The liberation was a crucial point that determined the outcome of the war to a large extent. We will never forget the price paid for the victory and the significant contribution made by the Belarusian nation to the common cause of the downfall of fascism”.
