Azarenka fourth in WTA ranking


         There has been no changes in the top five of the updated WTA ranking, BelTA has learnt. Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, who has not been on court since the beginning of March, remains fourth in the WTA rankings. She postponed her return to the WTA Tour again. Victoria said she said she has not yet fully recovered from injury and therefore will not be able to play in Madrid and Rome.
           Another Belarusian tennis player Olga Govortsova lost her place in the top 100. She dropped from the 99th to 101st position having scored 631 points. The best Belarusian on the men’s side is Vladimir Ignatik, who is 245th with 198 points. In the doubles rankings, the team of Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny are 13th with 720 points.
