Victoria Azarenka of Belarus and Ashlyn Krueger of the United States reached the Madrid Open semifinal defeating the U.S. duo of Coco Gauff and Robin Montgomery 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 in the quarterfinal, BelTA has learned.
In the opener Victoria Azarenka and Ashlyn Krueger saw off Demi Schuurs of the Netherlands and Asia Muhammad of the United States, 6-4, 6-4. Then, they proved stronger over Russia’s Ekaterina Alexandrova and Peyton Stearns of the United States, 3-6, 6-4, 10-5.
