Belarusian ambassador attends exhibition celebrating Victory Day in Moscow

Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War at the invitation of Chairman of the CPRF Central Committee, head of the party's faction in the State Duma Gennady Zyuganov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.


“In his remarks Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik noted that the memory of the feat of the Soviet people, who won the Great Patriotic War, is sacred. He recalled the huge sacrifices and spoke about the ongoing work to establish the facts of genocide of the Belarusian people during the war. He emphasized the need to ensure technological sovereignty of the two countries in the major sectors of the economy such as space, aviation, microelectronics, machine tools and others,” the press service said. 

The Ambassador thanked the Russian side for the allied cooperation. He assured that Belarus would continue the policy towards the alliance and strategic partnership with Russia.

The exposition was organized by the CPRF State Duma faction. The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of all factions of the Russian lower house of parliament.
