Big business delegation from Russia to visit Belarus in September

A big business delegation from Russia will come to Belarus in September, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia told BelTA following a meeting between Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik and President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Vladimir Platonov.

“The head of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the visit of a big delegation of Russian business people to Minsk in September 2024. They asked to provide assistance with arranging meetings with potential Belarusian partners and government officials,” the press service said.

The ambassador of Belarus remarked that the Belarusian side is interested in constructive cooperation with the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the field of investment. It would like the chamber to represent the interests of Belarusian enterprises in third-country markets and help facilitate cooperation between Belarusian and Russian manufacturers.

“Aleksandr Rogozhnik emphasized the strategic importance for Belarus and Russia of the signed cooperation programs in machine tool engineering, microelectronics, and aircraft manufacturing,” the press service added.
