Belarus, Egypt to intensify ministerial cooperation

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentyev met with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs Khaled Emara on 20 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusian ministry of foreign affairs.

The parties discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda, including cooperation in politics, trade, industry and agriculture. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached following the visit of the Belarusian prime minister to Egypt in April 2024.

The parties also emphasized the importance of holding high-level events planned for the near future, intensifying the work of the existing mechanisms of interstate and interdepartmental interaction.
