Belarus studies China’s unconventional oil extraction technologies

Belarusian oil producers are studying Chinese experience of working with hard-to-extract unconventional hydrocarbon resources, BelTA learned from the Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft.

“The Belorusneft representatives continue their business visit to China. They are studying the experience of working with hard-to-extract unconventional hydrocarbon resources. The Belarusian delegation has already visited the laboratory and research center of Xi'an Petroleum University to get familiar with methods and equipment for special studies of core, reservoir systems and chemical compositions,” the company said.

The university staff demonstrated the possibilities of the educational and training process using modern technology and methodologies.
